The Survivor’s Anthem…

Mysterious brews, the senses desire
bottled old memories and tucked away
on a perfect day, when hope shall conspire
fears be forgotten, mellow smells shall play.
Reasons unknown, for a joy so profound
the fragrance that spreads, is a sure delight
Seek contentment, it’s sure to be around
like a beam of light, through the coldest night.
And as the day of bliss shall draw to a close
the fear, mixed with a familiar chill may tag along
Remember, dejection may reign but never impose
A thousand deaths cannot stop the heart’s song.
